Interstate 49 Palms to the Pines
The North American Free
Trade Agreement (NAFTA) connection from New Orleans, Louisiana
to Winnipeg Canada.
A
quick north / south route in America’s mid land is Interstate
49. The NAFT connection in the north reaches from Interstate
29 at Winnipeg Canada and Interstate 35 at Duluth, Minnesota
joining to form Interstate 49 at Kansas City, Missouri. This
major transportation link lays equal distance between
Interstate 55 of Jackson Mississippi in the east and
Interstate 35 in Dallas Texas to the west.
I-49 starting in the north
from Kansas City intersects 6 interstates: I-70, I-44,
I-40, I-30, I-20, and I-10 as it travels to it endpoint of New
Orleans. Mexico is a short side trip down US 59 to the
border city of Laredo TX.
Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana,
Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, South
Dakota, North Dakota and Wisconsin are all states served by
I-49 fed by I-29 and I-35 with the nick name of the
“Mid-America Connection”.
Sections of the interstate
are still under construction or seeking funding for
construction with the majority of the project completed.
Transportation of goods and
services are easily and cost effected utilizing the I-30
Dallas to Little Rock Arkansas east west road systems and I-49
serving both the north and south borders of America.
