The Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers metropolitan area, along
with
Fort Smith
and
Texarkana,
were named among the best cities for relocating families on
lists compiled by Worldwide ERC and Primacy Relocation.
The
Fayetteville
metro ranked No. 22 on the survey's list of medium markets;
Fort Smith
ranked No. 41.
Texarkana
ranked No. 26 on the list of small markets.
The
Memphis
metro also made the list, ranked at No. 23 on the large
markets list.
Worldwide ERC is a national association of more than 10,000
corporate and government relocation managers and those
involved in real estate. Primacy Relocation is a relocation
provider whose clients include
U.S.
companies.
The list was created with several factors in mind, including
climate, elder-care and assisted living statistics, as well as
cost of living, taxes, home costs and schools.
The
Washington,
D.C.,
metro topped the large cities list.
Boulder,
Colo.,
topped the list of medium cities.
Athens,
Ga.,
topped the small cities list.
