Business Expo

The Business Expo is held in May. The purpose of the Expo is to allow area businesses the opportunity to showcase their goods and services. The community is invited to come out and see what area businesses have to offer. A Purchasing Managers Marketplace is available to allow business people the opportunity to gain insight on how to do business with a particular company.

Ambassadors

This committee of volunteers represents the Chamber of Commerce at ribbon cuttings and special community events. They cultivate goodwill and build a positive image for the Chamber. Participation is open to any member business. Great networking opportunity!

Buffalo Gnat Control Program

The Chamber coordinates the Buffalo Gnat Control Program on a 42 mile section of the Sulphur River from Lake Wright Patman Dam to the Red River. The purpose of the program is to reduce the number of Buffalo Gnats emerging to the lowest number possible. This vital program saves millions of dollars annually for industry, agriculture, and livestock operations due to the reduction of Buffalo Gnats

Business After Hours

This program provides an excellent networking opportunity for Chamber members. Business After Hours is hosted monthly by a Chamber member. The host has an opportunity to showcase his or her business. The attendees are able to learn more about goods and services provided by local members and to grow their business contacts.
